Upcoming Maintenance Impacting Campus Network - 12/22&23 and 12/30

The following work by ITS will impact wireless, wired, and campus telephone connections. Please plan accordingly. 

Telecommunications Infrastructure Upgrade
Tuesday, Dec. 22, 8PM to Wednesday, Dec. 23, 4AM
Wireless, campus phones and wired connections will be impacted in certain areas throughout campus, but no one outage should last longer than one hour. Impacted areas listed HERE.


Campus Internet Connectivity Testing
Wednesday, Dec. 30, Noon to 3PM
Simulating an outage of the campus primary internet connection. Remote users may briefly lose connectivity to Virtual Private Network (VPN). UCSC websites may become intermittently unavailable during this maintenance (less than 10 seconds). This maintenance impacts all locations including Main Campus, Westside Research Park, Scotts Valley/ETC, Silicon Valley Campus, and UCO Lick.
