While we wait the outcome of the president election, UC Santa Cruz is providing several opportunities for students to gather and get support. This page will be updated as more events are scheduled.
Wednesday, Nov. 4
- Counseling and Psychological Services is offering an array of ways for students to get support, including drop-in sessions and relaxation sessions.
- From 7-9 p.m., Oakes, Kresge, College Nine and College Ten are co-sponsoring a restorative justice space, facilitated by Vicki Duval where folks can process whatever developments we know of, and whatever uncertainty there is at that point. Register online and join via Zoom.
Thursday, Nov. 5
- The Resource Centers will host Thriving at the Intersections, Elections 2020 series: Building Community at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5. Students can register online.
Tuesday, Nov. 10
- The Common Ground Center is hosting a World Cafe on post-election concerns and anxiety. The session will be a 12:30 p.m. on zoom. The code is 919 6532 6712 and the passcode is worldcafe.
Thursday, Nov. 12
- At 6 p.m., UMI, a 21-year-old Seattle native pioneering a new sound rooted in R&B and neo-soul, will be facilitating a guided meditation for our campus on her first of two events for the UCSC community. Register.
