Upcoming Change to Zoom Meetings

To further improve the security of Zoom meetings, Zoom will be making a change on Sept. 27 that requires all meetings to have a Passcode or a Waiting Room enabled.

To further improve the security of Zoom meetings, Zoom will be making a change on Sept. 27 that requires all meetings to have a Passcode or a Waiting Room enabled. ITS is getting in front of this change to help with support and questions that might come up before online instruction begins, so we’ll be implementing the change in advance of Sept. 27 as follows:

Sept. 4 – All Zoom accounts for instructors, TAs, grad researchers
Sept. 9 – All Zoom accounts for staff
Sept. 16 – All Zoom accounts for students
