Twelve grad students to showcase work during Grad Slam

The sixth annual UC Santa Cruz Grad Slam on March 6 celebrates the graduate work of twelve finalists. 

Competing this year are graduate students representing chemistry and biochemistry, coastal science and policy, Earth and planetary science, ecology and evolutionary biology, environmental studies, history, molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, physics, and psychology.

The finalists also span first-year M.S. to sixth-year Ph.D. students. The event returns to the Kuumbwa Jazz Center at 320-2 Cedar St. in Santa Cruz and is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:00 p.m., and seating is first-come, first-seated. Complimentary refreshments by UCSC Catering are courtesy of the Division of Graduate Studies.
