October is National Cyber Security Awareness Month, a national effort to help everyone stay protected whenever and however you connect. The overarching theme for the month is, ‘Own IT. Secure IT. Protect IT.’ and UC Santa Cruz is proud to be a champion and support this safety and education initiative in October.

Weekly campaigns during the month are designed to engage and educate students, faculty and staff with the goal of raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity. This year we are providing even more opportunities to get involved and have fun learning about cybersecurity:
