I want to officially welcome to campus P.K. Agarwal, who today begins his appointment as dean of University Extension.
P.K. was previously the founding CEO and dean of Northeastern University Silicon Valley, a satellite campus of the Boston institution. In three years, he grew the program to 750 students, launching new programs and working with major employers throughout the region while also stressing diversity and inclusion.
I announced P.K.'s appointment last month. University Extension is a critical piece in our educational mission, and I know P.K.'s background and leadership will serve our campus well.
