Below you will find some summer dining details, including information on your dining discount and our summer hours of operation.
Staff and faculty summer dining tips
Intersession: June 17-23
- Most campus dining locations will be closed during intersession.
- The Bay Tree Express Store will be open.
- Various food trucks may serve campus during intersession. Check the Facebook pages of the various trucks, or contact them directly for locations and hours.

Summer session: Starting June 24
- Discounted dining for faculty and staff: Eat at any open dining hall for just $8.75 during summer session! Simply present your employee ID to receive the discount.
- Visit dining.ucsc.edu/summer for daily updates on our hours of operation, as summer hours are subject to change.
Starting Monday, June 24, the following locations will be open Monday through Friday for summer service:
- Perk at Baskin Engineering: Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last day of summer service is Friday, Aug. 30.
- Perk at Physical Sciences: Open 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Open until fall quarter 2019.
- College Eight Cafe, at Rachel Carson College: Open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The last day of summer service is Friday, Aug. 30.
