SAP update—landscape analysis available, register for workshop

  • CP/EVC Marlene Tromp has posted a Strategic Academic Planning overview video.
  • Phase One has wrapped up and the first deliverable—Campus Landscape Analysis—is available online.
  • Please be sure to provide your input via our voluntary SAP prioritization survey, which closes Wednesday, March 7 at 5 p.m. We want to ensure that faculty, student, and staff opinion is taken into account as we work to evaluate potential academic priority areas.
    • Thus far, 464 individuals have responded.
      • 38 percent from faculty
      • 38.6 percent from staff
      • 23.4 percent from students (7.5 percent graduate students, 15.9 percent undergraduate students)
    • Faculty and students responding from individual divisions include:
      • 34 from Arts
      • 45 from Humanities
      • 59 from Engineering
      • 86 from Physical and Biological Sciences
      • 72 from Social Sciences
  • Register by March 15 to attend the all-campus Future State Design Workshop, 1:30–5:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 20 in 108 DARC.
