Applications for the $1,500 undergraduate research scholarships are now open until Nov. 30. Fifty scholarships will be awarded to students in any discipline.

Unfounded reports of shots fired on campus
The UC Santa Cruz Police Department dispatch center received reports of gunshots near Kresge College today around 2 p.m. Police responded and determined there were no shots fired and that the sounds came from a sorority group popping balloons.
