We are writing to report the very sad news that Alexandria (Alex) Arceneaux (RCC student) passed away on Saturday, November 5, 2016. Alex succumbed to the injuries she suffered in a "hit and run" traffic accident on Sunday, October 30, 2016 in Santa Cruz.
Alex was from Lawndale, California and came to UCSC in fall 2014. She was a junior majoring in Theater Arts. Alex was a vibrant member of our community, sharing her talents with our academic community as a course assistant last year and tutor this quarter.
Please join us in expressing our deep condolences to Alex's family and friends. We will notify you of plans for a memorial service as soon as they are available.
