The UC Santa Cruz Police Department is investigating eight vehicle burglaries that occurred today between 1:30 and 6 a.m. at The Village residential area near the Lower Quarry. A suspect or suspects entered the vehicles after breaking a window with an unknown device. The vehicles were rummaged through and miscellaneous property taken. There are no known suspects in the case.
Anyone with information regarding this case is encouraged to call the UC Santa Cruz Police Department immediately. The community is also encouraged to report all crimes and suspicious activity or persons by dialing 911 or 831-459-2231, ext. 1.
