Youth Success Campaign: November 1-30

To: UC Santa Cruz Staff and Faculty

From: Fiona Weight, Campaign Committee Chair; Don Brenneis, Academic Senate Chair

As educators, we have a stake in helping the youth in our community succeed. We are asking all UC Santa Cruz employees to use this season of giving to focus on Youth Success and support the following local organizations:

    •    Aztecas Youth Soccer
    •    Big Brothers Big Sisters
    •    Boys & Girls Club
    •    CASA - Foster Care Advocacy
    •    Community Bridges - After School Tutoring
    •    First 5 Santa Cruz County
    •    Seniors Council - Foster Grandparents
    •    Volunteer Center - Youth Serve Program
    •    Walnut Ave. Women's Center - Early Education
    •    Youth N.O.W. - Tutoring Program
In recognition of UCSC's 50th birthday, we can't think of a better way to give back to our community then setting a new goal of $50,000!

Youth Success is one of the programs of the United Way. We are donors to United Way because we know our gifts go so far and touch so many. More than 75,000 county residents last year received services from the United Way for anti-gang outreach, teaching sustainability to the community, supporting health services for adults and so much more. Every dollar donated to the United Way of Santa Cruz County stays local in our community to help our citizens, neighbors, and friends.

No donation is too small to make a difference in our community.

To support Youth Success, go to the UCSC United Way at http://www.unitedwaysc.org/ucsc

Fill out the form and submit it.

Please send your cash/check donations via campus mail
