50th Anniversary

Dress-up success

To kick off UC Santa Cruz's 50th birthday year with a fashion flourish, the campus threw a "Dress Like It's 1965 Day" on January 15. Staff, faculty, students, and community members participated—and had a blast (from the past)! The Dress-up Day top winners were students Emily Graily and Sarah Logan, and professor of biomolecular engineering Kevin Karplus (below). Outfits were judged by Mad Men Co-Costume Designer Tiffany White Stanton (Kresge '03, psychology). View all of the photos
