2014 UC Santa Cruz United Way Campaign: November 1–15

To: UCSC Staff & Faculty

From: 2014 UCSC United Way Campaign Committee

Creating Opportunities for a good life by focusing on:

Youth - Preparing youth for success in school and life

Financial Stability - Assisting Families to be financially stable and independent

Health - Ensuring adults and children achieve good health

Our campus community steps up to this challenge every year.  The campaign is sponsored by University Relations and supported by the Staff Advisory Board and the Academic Senate.  Last year 224 UCSC faculty and staff donated $38,392 to the United Way making us one of the largest workplace donors in Santa Cruz County; something we should all be very proud of.

Your support is critical to our local United Way agency.  We are donors to United Way because we know our gifts go so far and touch so many - more than 75,000 county residents last year!  Every dollar donated to the United Way of Santa Cruz County Stays local in our community to help our citizens, neighbors, and friends.

No donation is too small to make a difference in our community.

Go to the UCSC United Way page on the Staff Advisory Board website: http://sab.ucsc.edu/outreach-committees/united-way.html

Fill out the form.  Print it out and sign it.  Put it in campus mail with your donation.  Attention:  Fiona Weigant, UCSC United Way Campaign

Mail Stop:  Education Department

Donations can be made with check, cash, credit card, or monthly payroll deduction.  If you plan to continue your current donation, your payroll deduction will automatically renew for the 2015 calendar year.  We continue to accept donations through campus closure.

We hope you will join us in supporting United Way of Santa Cruz County and the many agencies in our community that help make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.
