Restricted access on Porter-Kresge Road

Due to the large construction project now taking place at the Porter-Kresge Apartments, within the next few days Porter-Kresge Road will close to through traffic near the construction area during weekdays (6am–6pm), and will remain closed until the project is completed (summer 2015).

Due to the large construction project now taking place at the Porter-Kresge Apartments, within the next few days Porter-Kresge Road will close to through traffic near the construction area during weekdays (6am–6pm), and will remain closed until the project is completed (summer 2015). Only construction, service, and emergency vehicles (and those with DMV placards or UCSC Medical permits) will be allowed to drive through. All other vehicles will be prohibited.

During this road closure Porter College can still be accessed from the southern end of Porter-Kresge Road; Kresge College will remain accessible from the northern end of Heller Drive. Signs denoting the restricted area will be placed near each college Provost House; a map is available for viewing at http://ppc.ucsc.edu/portkresgrdcls.pdf.
