The subject of the video is simple:
Tell us why employers should hire you.

Employers spend an average of 6 seconds looking at your resume. We'll give you 60 seconds in front of our panel of judges to jump start your professional network.

The winner will receive a new iPad.


Have fun with it! Be distinctive. You want to be remembered. You want people to know why you are the best job candidate out there. The winning video will be:

  • Creative, Clever, Curious
  • Maximum 60 seconds long
  • Make a connection to UCSC
  • On topic with the theme: Hire Education
