The search committee for the vice chancellor of research has identified two finalists who will be visiting campus in early May. I encourage you to make a note on your calendar and plan to attend.
Each candidate will present a vision talk followed by a discussion session. These visits are your opportunity to meet the candidates, ask questions, and share your impressions regarding their qualifications with the search committee. Details of the 90-minute sessions are as follows:
• Friday, May 3, at 9 a.m. in the College 9 and College 10 Multipurpose Room: Candidate Morris Foster, associate vice president for strategic planning, Norman and Health Sciences Center campuses of the University of Oklahoma
• Tuesday, May 7, at 9 a.m. in the Merrill College Cultural Center: Candidate Richard Billo, interim associate vice president for research at the University of Texas at Arlington
