Staff and Academic Reduction in Time (START) Program
The START program, which has allowed eligible staff to voluntarily reduce their working hours in exchange for a corresponding pay reduction and various advantages, will officially end December 31, 2010.
I am writing to inform you that the START program, which has allowed eligible staff to voluntarily reduce their working hours in exchange for a corresponding pay reduction and various advantages, will officially end December 31, 2010.
Although the START program will end December 31, 2010, employees may request to voluntarily reduce their time dependent upon the appropriate departmental approvals and policy or contract provisions.
