Women’s rugby team to play in Division II national championship
The UCSC women’s rugby team has qualified to play in the Division II collegiate women’s championship game on May 5.
The UCSC women’s rugby team has qualified to play in the Division II collegiate
women’s championship game. They will play Iowa State University on May 5 at
11 a.m. at Stanford University.
The Slugs defeated Charleston College (South Carolina) and Bowdoin College (Maine) by identical scores of 49-0 at the Elite 8 playoffs in Sanford, Florida, April 21-22.
The UCSC women’s rugby team is the defending National Champion, and they are the number one seed.
