Technology maintenance may affect work during week of March 26

We write to inform you about technology maintenance that is occurring next week to three different services that may affect your work.

* The main campus Web site, www.ucsc.edu, will be moved to new servers on Tuesday, March 27, at 6 p.m. As a result of this work, there will be a short outage to the campus main web pages, Currents Online, Office of Sponsored Projects, and the Public Information Office web sites.

* The CruzMail e-mail system will be unavailable on March 27 at 11 p.m. until 8 a.m. March 28 for data migration maintenance. E-mail will be stored and delivered once the system becomes available.

* CruzNet wireless system will be upgraded beginning March 28 at 8 a.m. through March 30. You may experience a brief wireless service outage as IT technicians work on certain wireless access points around campus.
