Donald Saposnek, a lecturer in psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz, was honored by the California Psychological Association for making a “Distinguished Contribution to Psychology as a Profession.”

The association presented Saposnek with the award during its recent annual convention in San Jose. Saposnek is a child psychologist and child-custody mediator. He was honored for his contributions to the field of psychology in the areas of child and family development, parent education, and court mediation over child custody.
