In Memoriam

Sarah Mercer, a sophomore at Merrill College, died Saturday, May 24, when she was struck by a car while jogging on Empire Grade Road. She was 19. Sarah was studying literature and planned to go to France next year with the Education Abroad Program. She was also a dedicated runner, logging 8 to 10 miles every day. Her home was in Eagle Point, Oregon.

There will be a memorial service for Sarah on Monday, June 2, at 8:00 p.m. in the Merrill Provost’s House.
