The 37th Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation on Friday, Feb. 12, organized by UC Santa Cruz, will take a virtual format this year and feature guest speaker Mariame Kaba, founder and director of Project NIA, a grassroots abolitionist organization with a vision to end youth incarceration.
