Buildings and Grounds

Physical Plant staff expects to be on campus during the scheduled January 10 strike activity. In the case that the strike activity disrupts Physical Plant services access to the campus, all Physical Plant routine services including repairs and maintenance, grounds work, waste and recycle collection, custodial service will be suspended or extremely limited for the day. Physical Plant will do its best to respond to emergencies with managers and supervisors during the strike period.

Mail Services

With today's strike activity, USPS, UPS, and FedEx will attempt delivery. Campus Mail Services will be unable to deliver to and pick up from West Route mail stops today. Mailroom contacts on the West route will be emailed with this information. We apologize for the inconvenience. East and Central route delivery will start at 9:15 today so your mail delivery/pickup may be delayed.


OPERS

OPERS is open. All Physical Education classes have been cancelled for the day.


Scheduled classes

Students are advised that scheduled classes will be held unless you hear otherwise from your faculty member. If you have questions about the schedule of a specific class, please contact the faculty member of record for that class. Contact information can be found on the UC Santa Cruz directory.

Should the general status of classes change for the entire campus, that information will be posted to this site.


Student Health Center

The Student Health Center, including Counseling and Psychological Services, will close at 5 p.m. today.
