Berries, flowers from campus Farm & Garden go on sale at Quarry Plaza

A limited engagement berry and flower stand will open at Quarry Plaza in advance of the market cart's seasonal opening at the base of campus.

The UC Santa Cruz Farm’s fields are bursting with delicious, organic, strawberries and blueberries, and they'll be available for sale on campus.

On Friday, May 15, Wednesday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 27, a limited engagement produce and flower stand will open at Quarry Plaza with berries and beautiful flower bouquets from the Alan Chadwick Garden. The market stand will be open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Students can also learn about ways to get involved in hands-on learning at the UCSC Farm and Garden.

On Tuesday, June 2, the Farm & Garden’s Market Cart season will start at the base of campus, with sales of organic produce and flowers taking place every Tuesday and Friday from Noon to  6 p.m. through October. The 20th Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) season also starts June 2, and memberships are still available.
