On Friday, June 6, the UCSC Arts Division will present its first annual "Celebration of the Arts," featuring work from students in all six departments of the division.

The full-day event will take place in various venues on campus around the arts complex, including the Elena Baskin Visual Arts Center, the Theater Arts Second Stage, and the Digital Arts Research Center (DARC building)

Admission is free and open to the public.

The Celebration of the Arts is an expansion of the popular spring Open Studios event that has been presented by the Art Department for many years.

In addition to sculpture, painting, printmaking, photography, and other visual arts that have been mainstays of the spring open house, the new Celebration of the Arts will showcase the work in all areas of the arts at UCSC.

The featured exhibits will include:

Select pieces will be available for purchase at the Print and Photo Sale.
