I write to announce that the sample ballot for the Spring 2014 Campus Elections is now available for your review at http://deanofstudents.ucsc.edu/elections/index.html. Please take a moment to review this year's undergraduate student ballot which includes the following:

Measure 56: Amendment to Measure 30: Strengthening Access to Learning Support Services 
Measure 57: GROW Fee
Measure 58: Fee to Increase Library Hours to 24/5
Measure 59: Amendment to Measure 16

Student Union Assembly Officer Elections
Amendment to the Constitution of the Student Union Assembly

The Student Union Assembly is responsible for governing the undergraduate population of UC Santa Cruz. Every spring campus wide elections are held to allow students to vote on their leaders within the SUA, as well as a number of ballot referendums, that if passed with increase student fees. While the Elections Commission urges students to vote, it also wants to advocate for educated voting. In order to inform students on the platforms and qualifications of SUA candidates, the SUA Elections Commission is holding officer candidate debates tonight, Tuesday April 29th from 7:30-9:30pm in the 9/10 MPR. Please come out and get educated, meet your potential leaders, and form your opinion about your campus politics. Your vote is your voice, so don't let it go to waste!
