Update

Thursday, 9:30 am: The protest at Hahn Student Services has ended. The Cashier's Office and Registrar's Office will be opening at approximately 10 a.m. today in their usual first-floor locations.

Approximately two dozen students stayed overnight in an interior corridor on the first floor of the Hahn Student Services building. As of 8 a.m. today, the protest was ongoing.

With the exception of the Cashier's Office and Registrar's Office, offices in Hahn will open per their normal schedule today. The campus is in the process of relocating those two important student-service functions to other locations in the building:

• The Cashier's Office will relocate today to the Student Business Services Office, located upstairs in Hahn. In this temporary location, the Cashier's Office will only be able to process non-cash financial transactions.

• The Registrar's Office will relocate today to the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office, also located upstairs in Hahn.

Updates about the impacts of this protest will be posted on the UCSC home page.

Thank you for your patience.
