UC Santa Cruz United Way Campaign: November 1–11

To: UC Santa Cruz Staff and Academic Employees

From: Staff Advisory Board and Academic Senate

ONE more donor, ONE more dollar, ONE MORE LIFE CHANGED IN Santa Cruz County

We know that difficult times still continue for many in our community.  In the next few weeks, we have an opportunity to reach out to those in need of our help and make a difference in their lives through an annual gift to the United Way.

Your support is critical to our local United Way agency. UC Santa Cruz is one of the largest workplace donors in Santa Cruz County, so local partner agencies supported by our local United Way count heavily on our generosity.  Our support helps ensure that children will succeed in school and life, families will become financially stable, and both children and adults will receive the health care they need.

No donation is too small to make a difference in our community.

Making is donation is easy; just go to United Way's UCSC web site at http://unitedwaysc.org/ucsc.php to download your pledge form and find additional materials to help you with your decision.  Donations can be made with check, cash, credit card, or monthly payroll deduction.

A donation envelope will arrive in your campus mailbox in the next few days.  If you do not use the envelope, please return it so it can be used again next year.  If you don’t receive an envelope, you may use any securely sealed envelope and send your donation to Melissa Stone in the Cashiers Office.

If you plan to continue your current donation, your payroll deduction will automatically renew for 2012.

We hope you will join us in supporting United Way of Santa Cruz County and the many agencies in our community that help make a difference in the lives of your neighbors.
