Alumnae best current women's soccer team in friendly game

It was a gorgeous day for a soccer game--in this case, one that pitted alumnae vs. the current UCSC women's soccer team.
Graduates grabbed their cleats and headed back to campus for the Women's Soccer Alumni game, held on Saturday, April 30, as part of UCSC's alumni and community picnic, Day by the Bay.

About 25 alumnae showed up to play against the current UCSC women's soccer team and came out victorious, winning 2-0.

The game wrapped up spring training for the women's team; the official season starts at the end of August.

Slug Soccer Weekend will be September 9 and 10, with home games for both the men's and women's teams and a silent auction fundraiser.
