2011 Chancellor's Achievement Awards for Diversity

As a reminder you are invited to submit nominations for the 2011 Chancellor's Achievement Awards for Diversity. These awards will honor and showcase people and programs that have made outstanding contributions to furthering diversity, inclusion and excellence at UC Santa Cruz. Eligible recipients include undergraduate and graduate students, student organizations, faculty, non-senate academics, and staff employees, campus units (e.g., offices, departments or divisions) and academic or administrative programs.

A full description of the program including selection criteria can be found at the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion web site. Students and faculty, non-senate academics, and staff employees are invited to nominate eligible individuals, units/divisions or programs for the award. Nomination forms and additional information are available on the ODEI web site: http://diversity.ucsc.edu/2011diversityawards.htm

All nominations and supporting documents must be received by 5:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011.

Recipients will be chosen by a selection committee comprised of a representative from the following groups:

* Chancellor's Office

* Senate Committee on Affirmative Action and Diversity

* Staff Advisory Board

* Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

* Academic Personnel Office

* Staff Human Resources

* Student Union Assembly

* Graduate Student Association

* Former Award Recipient
