UCSC hosts alumni and friends night at SAP Open Tennis Tournament

SAP Open defending singles champion Fernando Verdasco and the always exciting Gael Monfils will play their first-round singles matches during the third annual UCSC Alumni and Friends Night at the SAP Open Tennis Tournament on Wednesday, February 9, at HP Pavilion in San Jose.

The event brings together the UCSC men's and women's tennis teams, coaches, alumni, parents, friends of UCSC, and others who love to watch world-class tennis. Fan favorites Mardy Fish, Sam Querrey, and James Blake will make a special appearance at this exclusive UCSC event. The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a buffet dinner in the South Bar at HP Pavilion. Verdasco's match starts at 7 p.m., followed by Monfils's match.
