UCSC Foundation trustee to offer business success tips

UCSC Foundation trustee Steve Blank, a serial entrepreneur, will give a talk at the Commonwealth Club on Feb. 8 entitled "Successful Strategies for Products that Win."

Blank is founder of E.piphany; a professor at UC Berkeley and Stanford Engineering; and author of Four Steps to the Epiphany.

Participants will learn a step-by-step strategy for entrepreneurs and investors to successfully organize sales, marketing, and business development for a new product or company. Using concrete examples, Blank will offer insight into what makes some startups successful and leaves others selling off their furniture.
