Ghosts, gold, and greed—a spooky tour at UCSC

Join historian Frank Perry of the Friends of the Cowell Lime Works Historic District for a special walking tour of the historic district on campus on October 30.

Perry will tell stories of buried treasure, a duel, the intriguing Cowell family, lime making, and mysterious happenings.

The event is 10:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, October 30; meet in the Barn Theater parking lot at the corner of High and Bay streets.

The tour is suitable for adults and older children (8 and up). Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Cost: $3 donation requested.
