H1N1 clinics administer 1,800 doses of vaccine to UCSC students

To: UCSC Students

From: Drew Malloy, MD, Medical Director, Student Health Center

H1N1 influenza immunization clinics on campus during the past two week administered 1800 doses of vaccine to UCSC students. We are awaiting our next shipment of vaccine, at which time additional campus shot clinics will be arranged. A campuswide broadcast email will go out to all students when the next round of shot clinics are scheduled. Please check the flu web site for updates on future flu shot clinics.

We strongly encourage UCSC students with diabetes mellitus, asthma, pregnancy or other high risk medical conditions contact their health care providers for information on off-campus options for H1N1 immunization.
