Sixty local second-graders visited UCSC on May 22 as part of College Nine and College Ten's Service-Learning program. Felicia McGinty, vice chancellor for Student Affairs, welcomed the children; UCSC students then gave the kids tours of the campus, including a dining hall, residence halls, lecture rooms, the Science & Engineering Library, the East Field House, and more. The field trip was sponsored by the Silicon Valley Roundtable, a local chapter of the National Association for Business Economics.
