Memorial for College Eight Student, Michael C. Wilson

Community members are invited to share and participate in a campus tribute to a beloved student, scholar, friend, brother and son. Michael C. Wilson attended UCSC and majored in mathematics. Mike served as past president of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) and co-founder of the Mathematics Diversity Alliance (MDA). He was also a member of the Intramural UC Slugs soccer team and worked at the campus bookstore.

Location: College Eight Quad Multipurpose Room

Time: 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. (memorial) and 12 - 1 p.m. (refreshments and sharing)

This special tribute is hosted by the collaborative efforts of College Eight, Cowell College, African-American Resource & Cultural Center, African/Black Student Alliance, and the UCSC National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE)
