Join the Women at Work Retreat planning effort

The annual two-day Women at Work Retreat provides a relaxing setting for campus staff to get to know one another.

The Women at Work Retreat planning committee has put out the call for volunteers.

Every spring the staff organization Women at Work puts on a two-day off-campus retreat organized for and by staff women. The event, in its 22nd year this spring, is sponsored by the UCSC Women's Center, Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action, and Staff HR. Campus units also provide funding for their staff to attend. Since 1992, a significant portion of the retreat budget has been generated by the fundraising activities of Women at Work.

  • Selling See's candy at your department or office; contact Laura McCann at llmccann@ucsc.edu

  • Buying or selling handmade items at the Women at Work Craft Sale on December 7; contact Dale Whyte at whyte@ucsc.edu

  • Donating or soliciting donations for a raffle; contact Sabrina Shaver at sashaver@ucsc.edu

Another way to get involved is by serving on one of the organizational committees:
